Upcoming Events - 2007 - Crazy 8 Series
About the Series:
The Crazy Eights are a series of 3 timed 8km summer evening runs at Lachine's scenic jetty. Runners of all abilities are most welcome. Come and compete or come and test your fitness, but most of all come and have some fun!!
Dates:
Runs will take place on the first Wednesday of the month:
June 6th, July 4th and August 1st 2007
Time:
Runs begin at 7:00 pm. Registration will open at 6:00 pm.
Location:
René-Lévesque Park, Lachine (see Web site for directions), a flat 2 km loop which will be run 4 times. Come all the way to the end of the parking lot.
Cost:
Members: Free
Non-members: $8 per run - $18 for all three.
(Be sure to bring $2 to feed the parking meter)
Registration:
Registration is on site starting at 6:00 pm the day of the event. No pre-registration.
The Good Stuff!:
Post-race refreshments will be served. Water and Gatorade on the course, at every 2 km. Door prizes!
