Phoenix Recipes - Improvised Oatmeal Cookies
2 cups quick oats
1¾ cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup raw sugar (or white if you prefer)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
½ cup 5% cream (but whole milk should do fine, I just don’t keep any at the house) ½ cup butter
3 tbsp oil
Mix dry ingredients. Add beat egg and milk mix, then melted fats and vanilla. Mix well, it into a big clump and let it cool in the fridge for 15 min. Finally, on a non-stick or greased baking tray, smoosh out cookies balls to ¼ inch thickness (not too big) and bake at 350 for 10-15 min depending on the size and thickness you make them.
